Damn blockbuster rentals forcing people to make games harder. Walk around playing together, at the same time, beating up baddies and bosses on the road to revenge. Unfortunately, the American version hid the “continue” feature behind a series of cheat codes, while the Japanese got the option fully available. a rom hack of Double Dragon II for the NES. The NES version of DD2, on the other hand, had more levels, more music, cutscenes to flesh out the story and add continuity between levels, and the ending was redone so that Marian lives in the end. I found this to be slightly easier than the first Double Dragon game for the NES. ![]() I rented this game quite a bit when I was younger. I loved the Double Dragon arcade games as a kid and was excited with the NES release of Double Dragon II since the first one for NES was so. ![]()
