![]() ![]() Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is currently set to land in theaters on April 8, 2022. We think Elba is a stellar fit and, if his Bloodsport portrayal in The Suicide Squad is anything to go on, he’ll be a brilliant, straight-faced foil to Ben Schwartz’s fast-talking, wise-cracking Sonic. Leaked set images had already revealed that Knuckles would show up in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, but it’s terrific to finally get confirmation on who will voice the character now. As an actor whose voice is on the deeper end of the vocal register, Elba appears to be a perfect fit for a Sonic character who needs a more serious and determined tone compared to his counterparts. This certainly plays into Elba’s own vocals. More recent Knuckles voice actors – Dan Green and Travis Willingham – have made the character’s vocals more gravelly, too. Since Scott Dreier entered the recording booth for the Sonic TV show that ran from 2001 to 2004, though, Knuckles’ voice has deepened. Up until 2001, Knuckles had possessed a higher pitched voice in the three animated productions he co-starred in. That would see Eggman convince Knuckles that Sonic and Tails are after the Chaos Emeralds and lead to some (hopefully) fun set pieces and quips between Knuckles and his temporary foes.Īs for Elba, he’s an exciting fit for Knuckles. en Jesus set a fine example in preaching, and he instructed his anointed followers: Let your loins be girded and your lamps be burning, and you yourselves be like men waiting for their master when he returns from the marriage, so that at his arriving and knocking they may at once open to him. The completion of negotiations on the Trade Facilitation Agreement, which entered into force on 22 February 2017, following its ratification of two-thirds of the WTO membership, has been therefore seen as a watershed moment. It's challenging, but a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. The deeper you get into Infinity Blade, the more you'll be forced to mix up your defensive moves – parrying, dodging, and blocking in varying orders to counter different attacks. You must quickly judge the direction of your opponent's attack and strike in the opposite direction. Parrying might be the toughest of all, but the most satisfying. This is the easiest way to defend, but each block weakens your shield until it reaches its breaking point. Blocking with your shield is handled by tapping anywhere on the center section of the screen. Dodging is tough - you have to really nail the timing. Tap anywhere on the left or right third of the screen to dodge in that direction. Soon enough, defense is the only way to survive. As you play through Infinity Blade multiple times (20-30 minutes per Bloodline), enemies get tougher. String a flurry of strikes together for effective combos. Infinity Blade detects it all and instantly translates it into combat moves. Attacks are handled by swiping your finger across the screen in any direction and for any length. This isn't like most action games where you just run in, swing your sword wildly, and vanquish your foes with ease. Battles are designed to feel like you're in a sword fight. There's always at least one enemy in a room waiting to test your mettle. Once in a room, you can maneuver the camera with your finger, searching for hidden loot and potions. You choose where to go, but the movements are scripted. Instead, there are touch points for entrances to different rooms. You don't walk through the castle either. There are no virtual joysticks or buttons to press. Of course, a pretty package means nothing if the gameplay doesn't support it. It's a stunning achievement on both iPhone 4 and iPad (with the 3GS version also looking good, though not nearly as impressive). I won't toss a bunch of graphical jargon your way - let's just say that Infinity Blade uses a lot of the visual tricks often only seen in console games. This is an absolute stunner for any handheld device and ushers in a new era of possibility for high-end graphics. These are the games that keep me hooked to my iPhone, but then again, I have never seen a game that looked as good as Infinity Blade. I've never had an issue with the cartoony look of great games such as Angry Birds and Game Dev Story. ![]() ![]() So goes the endless loop of Infinity Blade, which manages to continue this cycle even after you've slain the God King. And so your son eventually comes to the castle seeking revenge. ![]() Then the God King, who is far more powerful, beats you in combat and shoves his sword through your chest. Battling your way through the castle, you fight against tougher enemies but have all the skills and items of your ancestor. Twenty years later, you return as the son of the fallen hero, out for revenge. The God King then drives the treasured Infinity Blade through your chest, absorbing your essence. Unfortunately, you can't even get past his giant guardian, who quickly crushes you. It's unclear why you have a beef with the God King, but he seems like a bad enough guy to merit a sword in the face. Infinity Blade begins with an assault on the castle of the God King. The result is a beautiful, addictive, and surprisingly deep game easily among the best available on iOS4 devices. But with Infinity Blade, the first iPhone game to use Unreal Engine 3, developer Chair Entertainment created a game that could only work with a touch screen. Most iPhone games made for true gamers try and cram console controls onto a touch screen. ![]() ![]() ![]()
![]() ![]() ![]() So I hit upon the idea of buying an actual bona fide SC-55mkII. I'm really dissatisfied with the soundfont-based software synths freely available to use as MIDI devices, and I want something that actually sounds like a Roland Sound Canvas and not a cheap imitation. ĮDIT : Some sample recordings of the TTS-1 with default settings (tried using MAP change SYSEX commands (to switch to SC-55 or SC-88 map )that work on an SC-8820/SC-D70, but results sounded really strange, so I left it at default). In my case, having a paid (bundled with hardware I bought) perpetually licensed version of Sonar 6 that I cannot activate (through no fault of my own) but whose functionality at least partially works nonetheless is more of a grey area, IMHO, as no DRM circumvention (it just works) is being attempted and a valid license for the product is in effect, AFAICT. Whether this is legal and/or EULA compliant is another question, at least for the Bandlabs version. The point of all this is that using TTS-1 with a DXI host on a non Internet connected system/appliance (possibly even under Wine under Linux), without fear of it being terminated some day is at least technically possible. Also, apparently the version of of the TTS-1 DXI plugin is 64-bit and I don't know any 64-bit DXI capable inexpense srandalone hosts. Unless the TTS-1 plugin provided with the Bandlabs version of Cakewalk is significantly different from the one I have, this likely means that its TTS-1 will still work with a third party DXI host even if Bandlabs decides that Cakewalk is no longer free to use (AFAICT, Bandlabs requires you to use an online account and requires periodic online checks/activations in order for their free version of Cakewalk to keep working).ĮDIT: Testing confirmed the online activation requirement. The interesting part is that TTS-1 DXI synth works even if I am unable to activate Sonar due to the backend being EOL/terminated and I am past the 30 day grace period for activation. I would like to add that the version of TTS-1 that came bundled with the copy of Sonar 6 included with my Roland UA-25 workalike works fine with Synthie ( ), a third party DXI host for Windows, which I just bought for about 12 CAN$. It is mentioned here Re: Modern way to get Roland Sound Canvas for your old PC or DOSBOX!!! and here Re: Modern way to get Roland Sound Canvas for your old PC or DOSBOX!!! This is more of an SC-88, AFAIU, but if it works and is both free and fully legal, it might be of interest. There is also this AKA TTS-1 /Hypercanvas. Is that a complete overview or am I missing something? And there's tons of other SoundFonts as well, but that's not what I'm after. From what I can see, it is quite a nice module as well that sounds quite nice in several games, but of course it's not Roland, and not close to the SC-55. The X2GS would be another alternative, since that might allow me to switch to the "internal" wavetable (for GM) and the external MIDI (for MT-32) using the mixer settings in DOS.Īnd of course there's a 32 Bit Yamaha VSTi plugin S-YXG50 which is considered "Abandonware", which at best could mean that Yamaha doesn't really care enough anymore, but is certainly not legal to acquire. I am waiting for my order of the PI-MIDI to ship, so I already have a Raspberry Pi ready with MT32-PI, so being able to use a soundfont with that device would be really nice and put everything into a box.

Tee film is based on Marvel Comics Universe (MCU). The Avengers was first released in 2012 and got tremendous success on worldwide box office. It consists of black, gray with a metallic sheen, navy blue, red, burgundy, beige, and brown.Today we will introduce the logo font of the Avengers movie. The color scheme of the logo can be either simple or gradient. The “G” has an additional notch that extends beyond the bottom border. The word is in uppercase and is written slightly to the right. ![]() “A” is circled and provided with an arrow that replaces the connecting bar. The name of the movie saga is made with an individual typeface, emphasizing the first letter. On its emblem, there is a bow, replacing the crossbar in the capital letter “H.” The primary color is dark purple the additional ones are white and black. The main part is placed on a black background and surrounded by a caustic yellow stripe. This logo is in the shape of a red hourglass, which sometimes depicts a spider. The handle is made in the form of a combination of oblique stripes – white narrow and gray broad. The central element may have rays and a three-leaf flower. The classic version is a massive hammer circled. The number of rings varied from film to film, but this did not affect the heroic spirit of the logo. The logo of this character is distinguished by a patriotic mood, which is emphasized by the colors of the American flag and the blue star located in the center. It is inside a circle with a dark background. Its brand mark is a tightly clenched fist of green color. The second symbol is a double triangle, taken in a ring. She is characterized by a complex shape consisting of three elements: rectangular eyes, a white face, and a blackhead. But the word “Marvel” was clarified in the form of the prefix “Studios,” placed in an open white rectangle with black lines at the top and bottom. Such a move made the title of the film more readable, but the font of the phrase remained oblique. This time, the developers sacrificed part of the ring around the letter “A” and removed the bottom segment. In 2018, the fantastic action game “Avengers: Infinity War” was presented. It symbolizes the belief in good and gives hope for a favorable ending. For example, the “THE” and the metallic color were removed from it – now it is burgundy red, like the background of the word “Marvel.” In the capital letter “A,” a reflection was added at the top as if the sun was rising far away. His emblem remained the same, having received minor changes. The action movie released last year is Avengers: Age of Ultron. All letters are made with a slight inclination to the right. The name of the film company is written in white on a red background and placed at the top. The next design element is the middle planks of the letters “E.” Both of them are slightly cut and end with a sharp end. Moreover, the first letter of the word “Avengers” is placed in an open circle – more precisely in a semicircle, adding dynamism to the logo.Īnother feature is the distinctive mark “G,” in which the lower end has a sharp protrusion. On the bar is located “THE,” written in thin and small letters in upper case. This technique denotes a movement – uncompromising, direct, and focused, which characterizes the main characters well. The letter has an elongated front leg and a horizontal bar in the form of an arrow pointing forward. Its characteristic element is a large “A” made in the capital font. The film of this period is called “The Avengers.” The film has a basic version of the logo, reproduced in all subsequent series. And although the Marvel studio repeatedly changed it, he survived all the transformations, becoming the hallmark of fantastic action movies. It was this style that was emphasized and deepened. In any case, the large letter “A” with the arrow to the right is well recognized in each logo. Each of them used a legendary emblem based on an earlier version when Avengers was still a book. There are several versions of the action of different years, which are a continuation of each other.
